The Communications Committee distributes Board-approved information on a timely basis to the entire community, including Board decisions and pertinent community events via email, website, Facebook & physical signage in the community. Committee Meetings are held as necessary throughout the year. Committee Meetings are to be scheduled one week in advance on the community calendar, and open to all KCC residents. These meetings are held to review material that will be brought to the Board. Meeting Minutes will be taken, provided to the Board and Property Manager within 60 days, and saved to the association's books and records.
The Pool Committee reviews, advises, and assists the Board and Property Manager in problem-solving, identifying issues, and making recommendations for improving and enhancing the Kingstream Community and maximizing the benefits of the pool facilities to all residents of the community, and encouraging community participation by all members in the Association’s pool events. The Finance Committee reviews, advises, and assists the Board and Property Manager in providing financial council to manage all community assets and make sound business decisions. For more information, please download the Finance Committee Charter.
The Architecture Review Committee reviews, advises, and assists the Board and Property Manager in problem-solving, identifying issues, and making recommendations for improving and enhancing the Kingstream Community. The committee utilizes the Kingstream Community Council’s Covenants, ARC Guidelines, and other board-approved rules and regulations when making decisions. All KCC Committees are run by a Board Liaison and Volunteers that live in our neighborhood with the purpose of promoting a sense of community. Being on a committee offers a fun way to get to know your neighbors better while giving back to the community as you so chose. Board Liaisons and Volunteers are appointed at every Annual meeting, but always welcome to be a part of a committee's special project as they are discussed during regular monthly board meetings. The Landscape Committee reviews, advises, and assists the Board and property manager in problem-solving, identifying issues, and making recommendations for improving and enhancing the landscaping in the Kingstream Community. For more information, please download the Landscape Committee Charter.
As of June 2021, the Welcoming Committee and Activities Committee merged to become The Outreach Committee. The purpose of the Outreach Committee will be to advise and assist the Board and Property Manager in organizing events and gathering feedback from community members to ensure a positive resident experience. The committee will welcome new residents, ensure current residents are "in the know," and alumni residents keep in touch with the Community. Also, the committee will plan and execute social activities and events that promote the Kingstream community. Typical events include, but are not limited to, BBQs, community clean-ups, dog-swim, community yard-sale, seasonal and holiday decorating contests. The committee The Board has approved the Charter.
